Morning photograph of Weather Hill’s flower gardens.  It has been a beautiful week with cool evening temperatures.  Edith’s flower and vegetable gardens are flourishing.  Her potatoes are coming along nicely and digging for them reinforced in my mind just how important and useful a crop potatoes really are – and how devastating their loss throughout Ireland proved to be.
